Rubber and latex are basically the same and tend to be the tightest and stretchiest of the materials acting like a second skin, while PVC is more often than not the glossiest but tends to have a one way stretch and can have a scratchy backing which sits next to the skin, whilst leather really depends on the quality and manufacturing processes as to how soft it is and can obviosuly be quite expensive but it is good for things like harnesses which need to be strong and more inflexible.
